Overnight Oats

Oats contain a soluble fibre called beta-glucan which has been shown to have numerous health benefits including helping to lower cholesterol levels, support the immune system and stabilise blood sugar.


SERVES 1

 

Ingredients

30g oats

1 heaped tbsp. chia seeds

100ml almond milk (or other milk)

100ml natural yoghurt or kefir


Method

1. The night before mix together the above ingredients.

2. Cover the mixture to make an air tight seal (you could use cling film/foil) & refrigerate overnight

3. In the morning, add your chosen ingredients (e.g. cinnamon, apple, berries) and enjoy!
