Turkey Meat Balls

Turkey is a healthy source of protein and combined with the other ingredients these
meatballs provide good levels of zinc, B vitamins and selenium.
Serve with homemade tomato sauce (recipe in client section!), green leafy vegetables and chickpea pasta.


MAKES 10 - 12 MEAT BALLS
MAKE A BATCH AND POP THEM IN THE FREEZER!

 

Ingredients

  • 500g turkey mince
  • 2 big handfuls of chopped raw spinach
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. Dried mixed herbs (or fresh)
  • Quinoa flakes (or breadcrumbs)
  • 1 egg
  • 800g tomato sauce (recipe in client section!)

 

Method

1. Put all of the ingredients in a big bowl and mix together thoroughly – using your hands is best!

2. Roll the mixture into golf ball size meatballs and bake in a medium oven for 30 minutes.

3. Warm the tomato sauce in a large pan and add the cooked meatballs.

4. Serve with green leafy vegetables.
